Melissa and I did it again! By our powers combined, we created the most adorable AND economical baby shower gift EVER.
Melissa wanted to do hand-sanitizer gifts and had the idea to personalize them with a label. So I designed a sticker that MATCHED the shower invites which I also created! It was a breeze to peel off the front label of these bottles and replace them with our sticker.
Melissa did the hunting and found the bargain of the month with these at the Dollar Tree (You gotta love the DT), three-for-a-buck. Everywhere else, including Walmart, they were more than a dollar a piece! The labels were 1 3/4 x 4 in and came 14/sheet with 25 sheets/package. Because I designed the label so we could actually fit get two stickers per label (by cutting them in half, making 28 per sheet). So basically we have enough labels left over we can make custom hand sanitizer bottles for a century before having to buy more labels.
Team fabulous wins again!
Additional note: I have had numerous people ask me about which font I used for the “baby” on the bottles and the shower invite. Unfortunately for ya’ll, I didn’t use a font. Like my logo for ThisHumbleHome.com, I hand drew the word and then manipulated the image in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. It’s a pretty quick and easy process. I didn’t even scan my sketch into the computer. I just took a quick photo of it with my phone and emailed it to myself and PRESTO! An adorable touch of custom creation.
